Changes to Requirements Affecting H-2A Nonimmigrants: Extending the Public Comment Period

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announces the extension of the public comment period for the proposed rule entitled "Changes to Requirements Affecting H-2A Nonimmigrants." The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on February 13, 2008. Written comments on the proposed rule were to be submitted to USCIS on or before March 31, 2008 (a 45-day comment period) in order to be assured of consideration. USCIS has decided to accept comments from the public through April 14, 2008.
