This rule amends the regulations of the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) by establishing a special procedure for the filing and adjudication of motions to reopen deportation and removal proceedings to apply for suspension of deportation and special rule cancellation of removal pursuant to section 1505(c) of the Legal Immigration Family Equity Act Amendments of 2000 (LIFE Act Amendments).
